What items do families need to provide for their loved one's suite?
Swank Home provides all of the linens for the bed, towels for the bathroom, hand soap, toilet paper, & facial tissue. You are only responsible for providing personal toiletry items, like toothbrush & toothpaste, moisturizers, shaving cream, razors, etc.
What are the visiting hours?
Family members and friends are welcome to visit at any time. Recommended visiting hours are 9am - 8pm but we are very flexible as long as you are respectful of the other residents.
Will my loved one be able to have a TV or Telephone in their room?
All rooms at Swank Home are set up with cable and telephone lines but you will have be responsible for paying for the service. You can call Spectrum to get pricing & choose a plan at 877-992-7544.
Will my loved one have to move if they decline?
Swank Home prides ourselves on providing continuous care as your loved ones need change or as they transition towards the end of life. We work with several Home Care and Hospice Agencies who can provide additional support.
What level of Memory Care do you provide?
Swank Home provides Memory Care for early to moderate stages of Dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinsons. We are not able to care for anyone who has aggressive behaviors or is abusive to staff or other residents, or someone who is an elopement risk. Our home does have alarms on the doors but is not a lock down building.
